The Harty family always has walked a straight line in business, offering the best flooring products topped with honest, personal and friendly service. We differ from big home centers because we focus our efforts and knowledge on floor covering only. We are true professional floor covering experts with competitive prices and personal service.

Partners Jim Harty, Michael Harty and Cliff Vail keep that reputation alive at Harty Bros Carpet & Vinyl, the firm founded by their grandfather, Frank B. Harty, in 1933.

The men are the third generation of Hartys to work the North Plainfield store. After serving in World War II, the Harty's father, Frank J. Harty returned to take over the helm of the company where he remained until his retirement in 1980.

The partners are members of the Better Business Bureau, the Central Jersey Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Federation of Independent Business and the World Flooring Covering Association.
